Yup! Even better than that!
Y'see, as I said that hot girl is now my wife of five years and she is about 10 weeks along in what we call our own lil stem cell research project. On top of that, late May marked the end of my insurance career and the beginning of my career in the non-profit world. I got a big ol raise in pay to come help teach entrepreneurship in high schools across the great state of Kansas. More info is available at www.yeks.org.
That website, btw, is under my tutelage and I appreciate any and all feedback regarding making it the best it can be.
My job is to make sure that our students have as many opportunities to grow as business professionals and entrepreneurs as is humanly possible. The program is established but still in a growth stage. This is great for me because I am into opportunities to grow.
Other highlights include:
- Two trips to Atl - one of which I stayed at the Ritz Carlton whoot whoot!
- A few days at an entrepreneurship camp in Topeka at Washburn U. (Thanks Kirk)
- Party at my billionaire boss' house
- Spending the most time in Wichita with my folks since being in high school
- Bought a car that was actually made in this century/decade for my wife and baby to ride around in
- Being invited to be in the classroom teaching - which I have always wanted to do
- Spent time with a 20 y/o Fortune 500 CEO - can you say humbling and mind blowing?
- Helped one of my best friends on his recording project as a producer
