Here I am at McCoy's Public house in Westport, Kansas City, MO sitting across from Mr Jeff Yalden.
Well, that's Jeff anyway, I was behind the lens of my Blackberry Curve.
He was featured on MTV's Made as a teen life coach. Just Google him and you'll see.
He loved the mac & cheese with fried chicken.
I love my job!

....update:
After a great dinner and talking between Jeff, Spencer (YEK Program Manager Wichita), and myself, we hopped into my vehicle and headed for Jeff's hotel to help him set up his blog.
We were driving down SW Trafficway toward I-35 and Jeff says, "Watch out for this drunk guy walkin on the sidewalk over here." Just then, the drunk guy stumbles out into the street right in front of us. Luckily I was able to swerve and miss him but Jeff was pumped. "I love to watch stupid people. Go around the block and lets watch this guy. How can he be so drunk at 7:00 on a Wednesday nigh?"
So, we're in the Valentine area of mid-town KC, my old hood and I flip a right onto Valentine and make a trip around the block lookin for this guy on SW Tfwy. He wasn't anywhere in sight. So we make one more trip around the block and find ol'drunky had doubled back through the neighborhood going back south. We pull to the side of of the street as this guy stands in the middle of a driveway shrugging and raising his hands to the lil'ol lady trying to back out as if he thought she was tryiing to start stuff with him by "backing out of her driveway". What a loser?
We watch as he meanders further down the block talking smack to a young couple out for a stroll, rounds a corner an approaches a man walkikng with his two young children. By this time we have noticed that, on drunky's belt is a 6" hunting knife and Jeff is ready to jump out of the car to put this guy down. Amazingly, drunky just says hello to the dad and kids and makes his way east on 38th street. He was a pproaching a group of three thugish looking fellas and we figured he would talk some crap to them and we would get to watch as he was dealt with.
Not so. They knew him and gave him the knod as he showed them his knife. They slapped five and drunky went back to walking by himself. It was at this point that Jeff says, "I'm calling the cops. This guy is rediculus."
911 is called from Jeff's iPhone as we feed him the location of this guy (Jeff is from Cape Cod via Boston and hadnt ever spent any time on the ground in KC). We make a few stealthy trips around the block as we wait for the KCPD to show. We were on an opposite block of drunky when we spot a cruiser approaching the area. Jeff hops out the car and races over to the squad car to give him a quick 20 on our pal drunky.
Spencer quickly shifts into the front seat and we make a 3 point turn to go see the arrest. We grab Jeff and head up to where the cop car is. When we get there the cop has drunky against the car and is pulling the knife from the holder. As he puts the cuffs on we are driving by and recieve a thumbs up from the officer. Our good deed for the day was done.
As we were driving back to the hotel, Jeff says, "I like KC. Its nice here. I need to come back soon so we can hang out more." Anytime buddy.
When we got back to the hotel we got Jeff all set up on blogspot and showed him how to update from his iPhone. You can read about our evening at Jeff's Blog.
